Piano is a keyboard, and it keeps almost nothing. This page says exactly what the app stores, what it counts, and what this website measures.
Your settings stay on your iPhone
What is stored. Your choices, in the app's own settings on your iPhone: the theme (piano.theme), the sound (piano.sound), whether the metronome is on and its tempo (piano.metronome, piano.tempo), and a copy of which Piano Pro product your Apple Account holds (piano.owned), so Piano Pro is there from the first second. They never leave the device, and deleting the app deletes them.
No account, no ads. Piano has nothing to sign up to. It shows no advertising and contains no advertising library.
Purchases go through Apple
Piano Pro is sold by the App Store. Apple handles the payment, the receipt, the subscription and any refund; slow.tools never sees your card, your name or your Apple Account. The app only asks the App Store which Piano Pro product your account holds.
Anonymous usage counts
What Piano counts. These events, and nothing else:
- app_opened
- Piano was opened.
- paywall_viewed
- The Piano Pro sheet was shown.
- pro_unlocked
- Piano Pro was bought, with kind: lifetime or yearly.
- theme_selected
- A theme was chosen, with its name (theme).
- sound_selected
- A sound was chosen, with its name (sound).
- metronome_started
- The metronome was switched on.
Each event also carries what the analytics library attaches on its own: the app's version, the iOS version, the device type, and a random identifier created on your iPhone so that events can be counted. Never your name, email, Apple Account, contacts, advertising identifier or location — and never what you play.
Why. Piano is free, and these counts tell us whether the themes, the sounds and Piano Pro are worth the studio's time.
Where it goes. To PostHog, on its European infrastructure (eu.i.posthog.com), under a data-processing agreement. No person profile is built, location lookup from the network address is switched off, and no screen is recorded. The counts are not linked to you, never used to track you across other apps or websites, never sold, and never shared with advertisers.
This website
This website counts page views, which sections of the page you reach, and clicks on the App Store link, through PostHog's European infrastructure. It sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier, and does not follow you between visits or across other websites.

Who. Lapidem SRL (Belgium), the company behind slow.tools, is the data controller.
Questions and requests. contact@lapidem.ai. Your settings need no request — they are already on your iPhone, and only there.
